Robyn worked for 14 years in direct sales as a franchisee and served on a church staff for 14 years in Administration and as the Director of Children's Ministry. With a BS in Bible and Ministry, she volunteered as a teacher at Wellspring for Women for over 10 years, working with women in crisis situations. In 2012, Robyn began working at Baptist East in Women’s Services and later in Labor & Delivery where she met Dr. Matt Phillips. In 2016 she was hired as the Executive Director of Life On Wheels. Her passion is to see Life On Wheels expand across Alabama, reaching out to the whole state and beyond using the power of ultrasound to serve women, save babies, and share Jesus. Robyn and her husband Bill have two grown sons and attend Frazer Free Methodist Church in Montgomery.
Dana Weilbacher, RDMS
Medical Services Manager
As the Medical Services Manager of Life on Wheels, Dana manages all medical operations of the mobile medical clinics as well as serving as the primary sonographer. Dana has spent the last 30 years scanning in crisis pregnancy centers, and before moving to Alabama, Dana was a part of one of the pioneer mobile ultrasound clinics in Texas. Dana and her husband Dave have one daughter and attend Centerpoint Fellowship in Prattville.
Kimberly has worked in the Ultrasound field for over 30 years and volunteered for Crisis Pregnancy Centers in Atlanta and Auburn. A Master’s Degree in Human Services from Liberty University has prepared Kimberly for meeting women in crisis with compassion and Biblical knowledge. Providing women with a first look of their baby has been such a blessing. In a loving atmosphere, women are encouraged to see beyond the immediate crisis to a future with God’s gift and His intentions. Kimberly has two sons and attends Centerpoint Church in Prattville.
Lori provides administrative support to the Executive Director for Life on Wheels. She received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and worked 17 years in the banking industry. “I have always wanted to help people, help them find jobs, help them know their purpose or even help them find a date, but when my own unborn child was in jeopardy at 20 weeks, I realized these babies need my help too. Life on Wheels not only reveals the value of life in the womb, but we remind the mother of her value, that she is not alone and God has a plan and a purpose for her and her baby. I am just thrilled to even have a small part to play in making this happen.” Lori and her husband Dale have 2 children and attend First Assembly of God in Montgomery.
Social Services Director
Mary Young is happy to serve as the Social Services Director. Mary received her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Troy University and Master’s in Social Work from the University of Alabama. Mary has vast experience working with different populations. Serve-Empower-Advocate is her professional foundation. Incorporating strengthens perspective with individuals to help assist needs in difficult times is always a priority. Mary believes collaboration is key and strives to strengthen partnerships with community agencies. Mary loves working on team! Mary and her husband Matt and children attend Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Montgomery.
Pit Crew Leader
Bill is responsible for keeping the Life On Wheels fleet rolling as well as training our volunteer drivers. With his experience and training in the military and his heart for the Lord he is a vital member of the Life On Wheels Staff.
Director of Ministry Development & Training - Tuscaloosa
Anne is the current Director of Ministry Development & Training at Life On Wheels - Tuscaloosa. She has previously served as a social worker at institutions like St. Vincent's Health System, Carraway Methodist Medical Center, Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover, and Meadowbrook Extended Care. In addition, she worked as an Account Specialist with Gentiva/MidSouth Home Health Care. Anne is a licensed social worker and an alumnus of Auburn University. She derives immense satisfaction from her work at Life On Wheels, where she devotes her efforts to serving women. When not at work, Anne finds joy in riding horses with her daughter, Ava, and taking long walks. At home, her two ponies and three fur babies keep her busy. Anne has been married to Eric Messer for 21 years and they live in Homewood, Alabama. They attend Briarwood Presbyterian Church and are proud members of the Greystone Golf and Country Club.
Mobile Operations Manager - Birmingham
Lisa Bodkin started with us as a Client Advocate in training and later as the Mobile Operations Manager for the Birmingham location. Lisa has a professional background in Human Resources and most recently as a Job Coach serving individuals with disabilities obtain and keep employment. Her pro-life heart was fostered by an internship with a Pregnancy Resource Center while in college (100 years ago, in her words)! She considers it an honor and a serious calling to serve the women who visit the mobile unit as well as the precious lives they bring on board. Training and assisting new Client Advocates to speak up for the unborn while caring for their mothers is vital in Birmingham. Lisa loves serving her city and her God!
Director of Ministry Development - Birmingham
As the DMD of Life On Wheels, Ale looks for connections with the community, agencies and churches; recruits volunteers, and speaks at functions about our mission. Ale is Mexican/American, and her passion is to serve people, and volunteer. She worked in the financial and marketing field in Mexico City for 10 years. Ale has spent the last 13 years volunteering with different organizations in Texas, and before moving to Alabama, Ale was a party planner and business owner. Ale has two children and they attend Church of the Highlands Greystone, where she is a member of the Outreach and Event Dream Teams.
Savannah is the dedicated Multimedia Manager for Life On Wheels. Holding a bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from SNHU, Savannah uses her love for the arts to drive the organization’s digital presence. She is in charge of designing and editing advertisements, videos, flyers, documents, email campaigns, blogs, and posts for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook - staying informed of current trends to create engaging content. Additionally, she manages the organization’s websites and social media pages, communicates with potential clients, and assists the organization in various tech-related duties. Her multifaceted role showcases her passion for both creativity and the mission of Life On Wheels.
